Vehicle Detail
Relisted due to non-payment from bartekp1987. German and Polish buyers beware of this guy as he sells on eBay.de. 560 SEC with 139K miles. Started as a project with my best friend who passed away after fighting agent orange for two years. The car runs good, goes straight, and stops good. The body is in good shape with no rust. I bought the car two years ago and it was stored from November 1st to May 1st in a heated storage. The car was purchased from a collector out of Dallas, Texas and before that it was in Arizona and California. The underside is clean with no visible rust. Please view the Carfax for more information. It's free to view. I had the following work performed by Star European Imports, an independent Mercedes Benz specialist shop: · Radiator flush and new fluids· Brake flush and new fluids· Front suspension joints replaced· New accumulators for rear suspension· H&K lowering springs· New AMG replica W210 E55 18” wheels - 18X8.5 and 18X10· New Sumitomo tires (less than 850 miles) 235/40-18 and 285/35-18· New Sony MP3 stereo· New speakers front and rear· New wooden shift knob imported from Turkey· Wooden MOMO steering wheel imported from Japan· New Cocomat floormats· Repainted in the original burgundy color and clear coated· New windshield due to mild pitting· New Diehard battery What does it need?· Sunroof motor· Radio antenna motor · A/C recharged Things I would change to make it perfect?· Some of the window rubber attached to the chrome strips due to weathering ($200)· Front seat covers ($500-$750)· Re-tint side and rear windows ($250) The car is a driver but in pretty good shape for being 30 years old. It’s not show quality but you can take it out and enjoy it with the wife and/or family. It does show respectably at the car shows and I've had a lot of good comments about the car. Basically, the car has been garaged for the last 20 years with less than a thousand miles per year. If it doesn't sell for my price this time, I'll keep it and restore it to better than original condition. These cars aren't worth a lot of money right now but I'm not going to give it away either. I have aproximately $12,000 in the car as it sits. Another $3 to $4K and it would be better than 95% of the SEC's anywhere in the world. BTW, Patrick Swayze bought one of the original "Roadhouse" movie cars and drove it for years. These cars are reliable if you take care of them.
