Up for sale Rare! 2011 Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet with only 14,302 original miles! This SUV was never in an accident and was totaled only because of a bent linkage that operates the intermediate trunk. The convertible top was still fully operational however in the closed position there was a slight panel gap difference were the intermediate trunk meets the driver rear quarter panel. (please see before repair photos below) The meticulous owner took it to the Nissan Dealership to have this issue corrected. They looked at it and couldn't find anything that was visibly bent or damaged so they recommended replacing the entire top! The insurance was worried that this might not solve the problem so they totaled the car. We got this car into our shop and found no visible signs of anything that was bent, so we decided to start by replacing the linkage that operates the intermediate trunk. We got the replacement piece installed and the first time we tried it the intermediate trunk closed perfectly and the body gaps were all even. A simple fix to a complicated problem!
