Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the bes...t of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Ford Freestyle SEL AWD with just 136k miles. I will start off by saying that these cars are absolutely fantastic. I gave one of these to my wife as a loaner while her car was in the shop for service a few years back. Let's just say...I never got it back. Her Freestyle now has 196k miles on it and she says the only way she'll give it up is if I replace it with a newer one. We've driven it everywhere and it has been nothing short of fantastic. I would rate the exterior of this Freestyle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful automobile. It is finished in Dark Shadow Gray over light gray trim with matching light gray leather interior, which is a great color combination. The only thing keeping this Freestyle from the "above average" rating is a scrape mark in front of the RF wheel and a crack in the bumper cover at the right fog light. The paint has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Freestyle. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean she came in. How you see this car in the photos is exactly how she came in...I didn't even wash it. I would rate the interior of this Freestyle SEL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show no excessive wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There is an in-dash CD changer and steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and nearly effortless. We use our 3rd row all the time and getting kids in and out is a snap. Behind the 3rd row, there is impressive cargo space. When you're not using the 3rd row, it folds easily to open up a generous amount of room. I swear, our Freestyle doubles as a pick-up truck and can haul a downright impressive amount of stuff. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. And coming from someone who has had pretty much this exact car in the family for the last 3 years, these are great cars. Mechanically, this Freestyle appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L Duratec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight, well sorted and confident. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The CVT automatic transmission engages smoothly and is working properly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. This Freestyle hits the road as straight as an arrow. Out on the highway, she cruises easily and is comfortable to drive. In our Freestyle, we get about 26mpg highway. Mixed driving, we average about 20...which isn't bad. If you're looking for a very capable all around vehicle, a Ford Freestyle should be at the top of your list. From my own experience, I can't say enough good about them. If you're looking for a Freestyle, this clean / low mileage example should be at the top of your list. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
