I am selling my 1972 Suzuki TS250 dual purpose (dirt / street) bike that has been professionally restored. I purchased it a little over 10 years ago and it had already been completely gone through and restored by the previous owner. Physically and mechanically the bike is in tip top shape. All chrome is in excellent condition. It starts easily with the kick start and runs and shifts through all of the gears great. The clutch and brakes work great as well. The gauges were removed when I purchased it; however, they were included with the sale. Currently I can't find where I stored them so I can not include them in this sale. I recall that the millage displayed on the speedometer was just over 1300 miles, however, the previous owner said that he had gone through the top end when he restored it. This bike has lots of power and torque. I have put only a handful of miles on it, maybe 15-20 riding it around the neighborhood. I have owned it for over 10 years, but never registered it. However, it does come with a clean title with matching numbers and that is free and clear to transfer into the next owners name. The blinkers were also removed form the bike during its transformation and never reinstalled. The taillight works, however, I believe that the headlight may be burnt out, or something may be wrong with the wiring to it because it use to work, but when I started it this year, it was the first time I noticed that it wasn't working. The seat and tires are in really good condition...tires have lots of tread and have never leaked. The only thing this bike could use to make it perfect is that the wiring should be looked at. Currently the bike won't turn off with the key switch. The previous owner said that something happened with the wiring when the blinkers and gauges (lights inside) were removed from it. The wiring physically looks good, but I'm not electrician. I'm sure it is a simple fix for the right person. The gas tank is real clean inside and It does come with a genuine Suzuki key. This bike is a real head-turner! Paint is great with "ghost" (barley viable) checkered flags airbrushed on each side of the tank behind the Suzuki emblem. It has a real nice custom look with frame painted as well. Paint looks amazing, but want to note that there are a couple of really small scratches on the top of the tank just in front of the fill cap (maybe form hitting it with the gas pump handle?). This bike is a 2 stroke and has an oil reservoir; however, I have always resorted to putting mixed oil in the non-oxygenated gas because I haven't used it enough to build up trust in the oil injection system.
