My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in red and gray two tone over gray interior. As with any older truck, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this truck, you can see that the grill is broken and that there are some rust spots on the sides of the bed. Overall, the rust situation looks pretty good for the age and mileage of this truck. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. The red finish shines nicely for it's age. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close straight. The left hinge for the tail gate is broken, so that's a little tricky to close correctly. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. The tires are pretty thin looking and will probably need replaced for next safety inspection. I would rate the interior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner look good. The carpets show some marks from age but are acceptable. The cloth seats show normal wear but are comfortable and clean. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The extended cab offers room for extra passengers or gear, which is nice. Mechanically, this F-150 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering feels good. You do get some pulsation in the brake pedal under heavy braking, but the truck stops confidently. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The check engine light is on, as it the abs light. The diagnostic port on this truck will not power my diagnostic tool so I cannot retrieve and disclose like I normally do. I have my suspicion that it is just for a vacuum leak. I can hear a hissing sound coming from one of the hoses under the hood so I'm pretty confident that is the source. The engine runs smoothly and feels strong. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she cruises easily but does pull to the right a little. I'd start with replacing the tires, as mentioned earlier. A new set of tires, and an alignment would be a great place to start. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
