Vehicle Detail

This bike is the bomb...Turn heads on the road or in your private museum, show room, restaurant as a show piece as it could be hanging from a rope. Bottom line is I spared no expense making sure this was near perfect and the only reason I'm selling is that I'm getting a divorce. This beauty in near perfect condition, has been appraised by collectors as being worthy of not one penny less than $7,500. Right now I simply don't have time to wait to send this to the Triumph geniuses. Call me today and let's get eyes turning. Ken 213.949.0994 Triumph Tiger T100R Daytona Competition Amazing classic Triumph that could be parked in your living room but should really be enjoyed on the road. Whether you call it a T100, a Tiger, T100R or just plain sexy, it looks great, drives awesome and will put a smile on your face. Original builder spent over $17,000 in parts and labor shipped from all over the world to create a homage to his Dad's bike This classic motorcycle was rebuilt from the frame up, with a new front end, bearings, shocks, brakes, bars, electrics, controls, clocks- the whole kit and caboodle. Frame, swing arm, fork tubes, steering clamps, ears etc were refinished in High Gloss Black. New gas tank and fenders were painted in Green Apple Metallic Pearl. New badging and seat fitted with French Vanilla detailing. Cases and covers were polished to perfection. Wheels were completely rebuilt with new spokes and nipples. New Headlight and AMP gauge assembly. New grips, rubbers, shock boots, cables- why skimp when only the best will do! I have new tank knee rubbers as well, but why cover up that gorgeous paint. Not just a pretty face, it's also a wolf in sheep's clothing: - new high compression engine with new cylinder, pistons, rings, pushrods, bearings, etc - new dual 1-1/8-inch Amal carburetors, properly synced and jetted - Gas-flowed and port matched head with competition valve job by C.R. "Axe" Axtell - racing “Q” cams with radiused followers - new electronic ignition - new pea shooter exhaust The bike was originally built by CR "Axe" Axtell and has been restored over the last five years with no expense spared. C.R. Axtell, or "Axe," as his friends liked to call him, was a highly respected racing motorcycle engine builder from the 1960s through the 1970s, building competitions engines for Daytona and Jack Pine enduro races. Axtell’s engine modifications helped many of the top racers of the era including Sammy Tanner, Mert Lawwill and Gene Romero, to name a few. Early in his career, Axtell was best known for finding hidden horsepower in the British brands — Triumph, BSA and Norton — but later did extensive work with the factory Harley-Davidson racing team and also worked on Italian and Japanese racing machines, as well.
