I purchased it about 5 years ago, and have had 5 years of trouble-free enjoyment. All of the restoration/custom work was completed by the previous owner. He built it hoping to do the Hot Rod Magazine Pro Touring event. The engine and transmission were transplanted from a low mileage Mustang GT. It starts, runs and sounds great. There is absolutely no smoke, leaks, unusual noises or overheating. There is a new extra capacity radiator keeping things cool on the hottest days. The body and suspension bushings have been replaced with the new polyurethane type. The rust-free frame was cleaned and coated with POR-15. The totally rust-free body was treated to a 2-tone metallic copper over champagne custom paint job. Although all the work was completed about 8 years ago, the entire truck looks like it was finished yesterday. It is kept in a climate-controlled garage at all times. Because of all the custom work, this truck drives and handles like a modern truck, not one over 40 years old. This is definitely a must-see vehicle.
