Vehicle Detail
This car is a 5-speed manual transmission. It has a 54 hp, 3 cylinder engine that is in great running condition. I have taken it on long trips recently with no problems. It has had regular oil changes with fully synthetic oil. It has no discernible oil leaks. The transmission upshifts and downshifts into all gears with no problems. It is geared higher than normal, which improves the already great gas mileage. It will get between 40 and 50 mpg. The dash has some cracks in it, but has a cover. The speedometer has turned over once due to the vehicle's age. It has no major dents. The paint is starting to peel, and you can tell that the car was originally white with a black bumper. It has the normal scratches and small dings due to wear and tear for a vehicle of its age. It has no visible rust on the body. The convertible top mechanism lowers and raises with no problems and locks securely into place. The sides at the front part of the mechanism have been re-bolted back together, but it doesn't affect the working of the top. You can see this in the picture of the top folded down. The soft canvas top needs to be replaced. You can get them on eBay for around $200. The windows roll up and down, but need a little help by pushing on the back top corner of the glass when being rolled up. The tires have a lot of life left in the tread, and it has had alloyed rims put on. It is a great little car that I wouldn't be afraid of jumping into and taking on a trip across the United States. The car is currently registered in California, and had a new catalytic converter installed when it was last smogged.
