2005 Lotus Elise, base model. 2nd owner from new. Texas car from day one. Purchased from my engineer friend a few years ago. Have driven about 2000 miles since I purchased. Full service February 2017, Castrol synthetic oil change, oil filter, coolant change and refreshed with Zerek coolant, added K&N air filter, flushed and filled brake fluid. In 2012 DBA 5000 slotted and drilled rotors were added, EBC Yellow brake pads front and rear, and the SSC Rear Toe Brace Kit were added as upgrades. Original service records included in two file folders. Original services performed at Star Motor Cars in Houston where the car was delivered December 23. 2004 for $44,000 plus TT&L...Merry Christmas! Clear bra material was added in 2005 but the rocker panel drivers side shows road rash (pictured). Shifter recall was performed in 2006. License plate bracket included (front). AC warranty work in 2008. Yes, the car has AC. Odyssey battery plus battery tender is included. Oil line recall in 2013 and warranty replaced. 2012 ECM update on recall. Fault in switch pack module on headlights replaced 2013. Replaced oil cooler during recall 2013. All documentation and all owners manuals including supplements. Darth Holder cup holder (minus racquetball). Just purchased but haven't installed Moroso Aluminum 6 quart oil pan with windage tray. I haven't tracked the car but do run vintage road course racing. There may be an issue with oil starvation if the Elise's are tracked, so I thought the Moroso would be the fix. Reliable and quick High Speed Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine. An aftermarket by-pass for the heater core is added to the AC power plug to push pull activation of heater core bypass. Optional matching hard top ordered from new. Soft canvas top included. FOUR original extra wheel set (not pictured). The car sat a bit this year and the battery drained. ECM update 2017 to restore VIN lost when battery went down, hence, keep the battery tender one when not being driven (note to self). The car has not been abused and shows it's well maintained and cared for. I just don't drive it enough to keep it, plus I'm older and the tight quarters make a Miata look like a Lincoln. These cars are historically amazing cars but fewer than 5000 or so were brought stateside. If you're looking at my listing I'm preaching to the choir. YES I have both key fobs with the working key fobs...I was only able to load the one cover sheet for the CARFAX report tonight but will include the complete report with your purchase...Thanks for the inquiries!
