I purchased this 50 year old beauty from it's original owner two years ago. He rode it into his 70s before his doctor and family told him he could no longer ride so he parked it in the corner of his garage where it sat for 20 years. He had it serviced less than a hundred miles before he parked it so after cleaning the tank and carbs it fired right up. I replaced the battery, petcock and put new tires on it when I got it back on the road two years ago so they have about 4000 miles on them. This bike could easily be your daily rider, of course you would always have to leave early to allow time for random strangers to take pictures and tell you crazy stories about the 60s. I purchased a full gasket kit with the expectations that it would leak like crazy after sitting for so long but it never did. a couple gaskets on the case will get wet after a long ride and you might get a drop on the floor but that is about it and of course the gasket kit will go with the bike. This thing is ready for summer and all the random bike shows you want to go to. A $500 deposit will be required within 48 hors of the completion of the auction and the remainder within 7 days or before its picked up. This bike is being sold as is and there is no warranty. I do have a clean title in my name so again it is ready to go.
