This is a relatively rare 1962 Buick Special Convertible, with a 215 V8, with 4 barrel carburetor and T-10 4 speed transmission. Only about 15,000 of these vehicles were manufactured, but most did not get this powertrain option. The car had an amateur restoration almost 30 years ago and has been driven almost daily ever since. It shows those years of use, the paint clear coat is pealing and has scratches and some small scrapes. There is one small dent on the front left fender, see pictures and video. I use the car to go to work but is not ready for a long trip. The top is a little over 5 yrs old and is in good shape, the rear curtain is clear. The pads were replaced with the top when it was put on. The interior needs to be redone, especially the driver seat. It has four new white wall tires and the original hubcaps. Overall the car is definitely a 20 footer, and really would need a complete restoration to make a show car, but it is all there and can be driven and enjoyed till you decide to do that. I enjoy driving it with the top down, it is just fun and enjoyable. We are moving and wife says one of my toys has to go so we don’t have to ship it. So with some reluctance I am selling it.
