I want to preface this description by saying I AM NOT A MECHANIC, this bike needs some work but all I can offer is my opinion as to what is wrong. The engine runs well but the bike will currently not start; I believe this to be due to either a bad starter switch or solenoid. The transmission will only shift back and forth between 2nd and 3rd gear and I believe this is due to a bent shift fork. Again, I have no verification of either of these, just what I think it is; if I was more mechanically competent I would attempt to diagnose and fix myself but that's just not me. I am the third owner and have had the bike for 10 years, it was regularly ridden until I had major need surgery and after sitting for the better part of year it developed these issues after I put it back on the road. The crease in the left side of the tank was there when I bought it. The bike had a Memphis Shades windshield, luggage rack, forward controls, and a gel seat. I don't think it would take much to get it on the road if you know what you are doing; it really just needs some TLC. Also comes with a Clymer repair manual. Please contact me with any questions.
