1972 Triumph SpitfireThis is a fun car to driveGreat father son project New Webber carb, New clutchStarts right up and runs and drives pretty wellengine runs and idles well and has good powerNo knocks - sounds goodThe tires are bias ply and should be replacedGot this car from original owner about 7 years agoMy son and I patched up the floors, put new brakes, wheel cylinders, master cyl.New gas tank, tune up, new clutch and webber carb etc My son learned a lot on itWe got antique plates and drove it here and there for about 4 yearsIt still needs workLike any car this age it needs to be played withThe soft top is good, hard top very goodHas a tonue cover and a cover for over roof when roof is downThe frame is solid One rust hole in frame rail that is an easy weldWe have new floor pans, rockers and other sheet metal body parts includedLots of other parts includedThe car starts,runs, shifts and drives well The lights are partially working but everything is there and we have never addressed the lightsSheet metal is pretty straight Clear title Garage kept for 7 years we have owned it and most of time by original owner Tons of extra parts including entire new floor panels rocker panels for under doorsOriginal door panels included Original radio Side mirrorMany other 1972 triumph original parts and accessories from when car was new Please bid only if you are sure you want it Ask any questions before biddingIts a great car Fun to drive and easy to work onThanks fir looking and good luck
