Relisted as a person who made multiple bids didn't pay - please only bid if you are a genuine buyer, realistic reserve NOT TO BE RESTORED !! - this is an incredible mostly rust free completely orginal survivor locally delivered and owned i have only done a couple of things to make sure it goes and drives well - full service; shocks and springs, new american racing wheels and yokohama tyres, ball joints and a new radiator - receipts from that work available deliver books and papers and clean title V8 auto an outstanding original car that just needs to be maintained not restored - starts first time each time, drives great, transmition smooth and quiet, engine same, interior excellent except cracked dash a great DAILY DRIVER, super reliable and a crime i am selling but leaving the country and have no option coolest ride available today - I paid 2,700 and have probably put that in to make sure it goes and rides better I better be clearer on rust as someone sent me "ROFLMAO" which I had to look up what it meant ! So yes there is some rust on engine lid and in bottom of one door (i think the other one is ok) but underneath and in all pillars and rails there is at most surface rust - the car is very solid - I was offered a new engine hood and I said no as it has no effect on car and hood adds to patina - the doors are also a very easy fix but i prefer them the way they are - I did rust treat to stop it spreading as much as possible. So car is clearly not rust free as pictured but a very solid car and key areas are dead straight, solid and clean. Tray doesn't have any rust Hope that is clear now - arrange inspection any time at Amagansett NY I would add I am a enthusiast, I own a bunch of interesting cars and bikes including 928S4; Jaguar XJS (mint); BMW Z4M; DB9; F430 manual; R850R etc - but this car is as much fun as any of them, love it, sounds great, drives great .... it ain't new and ain't restored but is super clean and amazingly original, only for enthusiasts for sure and if you want a tarted up candy apple red car, this isn't it ! NO Air con Please note: PLEASE do not waste time bidding on this item if you cannot afford to pay - while I think these prices are very cheap I may well reduce reserve to not far from here SO PLEASE ONLY BID if you intend to own it - I know everyone wants one of these but if the auction ends and you are top bidder that means you own it !!! please only genuine bids and I will be cancelling any bids from anyone without good ratings and history - thanks, just want to be clear on this.
