My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my fist hand option of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms and Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 VW Jetta. I would rate the exterior of this Jetta to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The red finish shines nicely and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific VW, there is nothing major to disclose. Only the normal stone chips and a small dent at the rear of the car and a few scratches. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk and open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this VW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats are soft, supple and computable showing little wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is original and works properly. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this VW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L 4 cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. I did get a check engine light on during my test drive. The codes are, P0411 (secondary air) and P0442 (evap leak (small leak). These do not effect how the car drives. Other than that I didn't get any other idiot lights during my road test. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and crisp through all the gears. The clutch feels good. It catches nicely and dose not slip or chatter. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The VW Jetta makes for a great everyday car. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin.
