Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1981 Chevy G20 full size van with 130k miles.. This was a dealer demo from a local dealership then William Maine bought this and owned it until I bought it recently. This is not a van that has been passed around or hacked up. I have put a very reasonable reserve on this vehicle, bid to buy. Ask your wife, your dad, your mom before you make any bids... Please ask me any questions prior to the auction ending besides what the reserve is... This is being sold in "AS IS" condition Motor: 350 motor Trans: Original turbo 350 Interior: Is as it was converted from the factory It's got very nice plush seats 4 captains chairs and bench in the back that turns into a bed This van also has a refrigerator behind the rear bench seat Exterior: Original brown / tan color combo... Most of the paint is original however there are some dings and scratches and some cracking Hurricane wheels 15 X 7" with white letter tires. The good: Absolute time capsule... Beautiful "survivor van" for those van-in's... Body is in great condition with little to no rust. Many period "vanner" items (CB, gold running boards, graphics, etc). Beautiful color combo (very 70's). New front brake calipers, and pads. You'd spend most of your life trying to find one this nice and it probably wouldn't be as nice as this one. The bad: The body is not perfect it does have some dings and scratches and scrapes from over the years. This is a little bit of surface rust at the top of the guide for the door (minimal). The carburetor could probably use rebuit just from it's time sitting, it runs good when it's cold but as it warms up it has some trouble idling in gear I just don't have time to mess with it.
