Very nice real deal GTO with PHS documentation proving it to be born a GTO convertible and it also has 5N on the trim tag! Original colors in code 'R' which is Montero red and code 213-30 black interior with originally a black top not white. Car was originally from Mississippi and I have proof that it came to NY 2 years ago (old title pictured) so you can count on this being a very solid original GTO with the original floors, trunk, most all body panels and trunk drop downs! This is very rare for GTO convertibles! Unfortunately, the orig engine is long gone and it is now a period correct replacement big block pontiac engine with a tri power set up on it. The car runs and drives very nicely as many mechanical items were redone and I have quite a few receipts to show that. New shocks were installed 6 months ago along with brakes and other things for reliable sustained driving. It starts cold and idles immediately, shifting is smooth and easy. Car has very nice clean rally 1 wheels, a very nice and clean power conv top, 12 bolt posi traction rear, power steering, back up lamps, windshield washer and dual speed wipers, new center console (I have the original as well and you can have either one of the two), power top and a few others things that I am sure I'm forgetting. The interior is in very clean shape as you can see (and I believe it to be mostly original except the carpet and console but I have the orig console available) and the paint is in very nice condition finished about 20 years ago but some small areas are starting to show their age.
