Vehicle Detail
Here is one you don't see everyday. 1975 Plymouth Trailduster Sport. It is equipped with a 360 Cubic Inch engine, Automatic Transmission, Shift-on-the-fly 4 Wheel drive, Edelbrock Carb, Power Steering, and Power Brakes. It has a removable hardtop for open air driving and it is equipped with a Factory Roll Bar. Runs, Drives and Stops good. Could use a carb adjustment. It is currently registered. All lights work (headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, hazard flashers, side marker lights, back up lights, license plate light). Horn works. Wipers work. all gauges work even the dash lights work. Just had a fresh tune up and oil change. It has nice Cragar mags and the tires have about 1000 miles on them. It has skid plates covering the Transmission, Transfer case, and Gas tank. Has a recovery hook in the front. The Trailduster is the same as the Dodge Ramcharger and parts are readily available and relatively inexpensive. These things are great 4 wheelers. This truck is in decent original UNRESTORED condition. It had a repaint many years ago and has since aged and oxidized so it needs cosmetic work, needs some new weatherstrip and carpet. Seats need new upholstery. Seat foam is good and seat frames are sound so upholstery is all you should need. Has dual exhaust and glass pack mufflers but needs tail pipes and one of the donut gaskets on the passenger side exhaust manifold should be replaced. Has minimal rust. Floor pans and rockers are solid. Has some rust over the rear driver side wheel opening and there is some rust in the lower rear passenger side quarter panel. Overall it is in good condition with relatively low mileage for a 1975. It has Dana axles with 355 gears. Regretfully being sold due to ill health. Call or text (801) 597-0852 for more information. It has a clean and clear Utah title. I will also supply a bill of sale. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. On Apr-26-17 at 12:01:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I appreciate the inquiries I have had on this truck. I encourage anyone to ask questions and I will be happy to provide any additional information anyone may have. I also encourage potential buyers to look it over if possible or have someone you trust inspect it for you. Some of the inquiries I have had indicate to me that the person considering it intends to drive it and use it as everyday transportation as soon as it arrives. You are certainly free to do that if you choose to do so. But Please bear in mind that the truck is 42 years old and that you will be buying it AS IS. I can't guarantee that you will be able to drive it 10 miles or 10,000 miles before it has a problem. That is the risk I took when I bought it. However, I never intended to drive it as it was for very long. Over the years, I have bought these old classics (cars and trucks) fixed and restored them as needed, enjoyed them for a couple of years then sold them to buy another one to fix up. That was my hobby. Not to get TOO personal, Just after I bought this one, I had a complication from a surgical procedure that has left me unable to pursue that hobby anymore. This is the first vintage vehicle, car or truck, that I have not been able to complete and enjoy and, due to age and health, will likely be the last. For this Trailduster, you will be picking up where I left off. I think it is a great candidate for restoration. They are quite rare and the trends I have seen indicate that it will appreciate in value. It does need some work and I can't do it anymore. Mull that over if you are thinking of buying it and bid accordingly.
