In my opinion the 2 door SWB version scream twenty something with a few bucks. These 4 door wagons just are classy and timeless. I bought this 300GD in the Netherlands while on business some time ago. It came from the original owner who was a surgeon. All original barn truck with 60k KM on the clock. I pulled the tail lights to find a very clean tub. The rear jump seats are awesome! I don't really need to get into the particulars, but this truck is all original body panels. It's damn solid. The truck is beautiful inside and out. I meticulously went over this truck and replaced anything that was suspect, including, but not limited to: U joints, belts, hoses, recored radiator, installed plastic gas tank, adjusted and lubed emergency brake, clutch, throwout bearing. I couldn't decide on rims, so you get two sets, a very expensive set of AMG's and a set of stockers. Plus, 3 different sets of tires depending on your mood. Absolutely no expense was spared on making this low mileage example dead reliable. The truck is all original, and shows commensurate with a 40k mile truck. I have service records (not in English) that show a very linear aggregation of mileage. These wagons are very hard to come by, much less a very original, low mileage example. This is one of the few OM617 powered wagons in the US, which is in my opinion, the best motor ever built by any manufacturer. No leaks, no squeaks, no stories, no BS. No, the truck does not have A/C, but can be retrofitted for about $1,000 if you know what you are doing. Truck has free and clear IL title, registrable anywhere.
