Good condition. I've owned the car for 28 years and have replaced many components including, but not limited to shocks, leaf springs, steering gears, modern 12 volt alternator and electrical wiring system, tinted glass all around. Additional information available upon request.On Apr-22-17 at 07:44:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine was rebuilt in 1991with new pistons, rings, rod & main bearings, oil pump and rebuilt water pumps. The Merc-O-Matic transmission was resealed around the same time. The original carburetor was replaced with a Holly 2 bbl. Could not get the original to idle properly. Mallory dual point distributor with centrifugal advance replaced original vacuum advance distributor. The original wiring was replaced with a modern system and converted to a 12 volt negative ground alternator system, the exception being the 6 volt starter was not replaced, it works fine with the 12 volt system. A 12 volt cassette radio was installed and the original analog dash clock was sent out and converted to 12 volt. The steering box worm gears were replaced with new. Dual exhaust was installed with sweet sounding mufflers. The chassis is original with the exception of leaf springs and shocks that were replaced. The front end suspension is tight and I have had radial tires on the car which are in good shape. The body is fundamentally sound and was repainted by the previous owner years ago. The Merc is 65 years old so you will see some age spots. The entire interior was replaced: headliner, door panels, front and back seats sun visors and carpeting. It is in pristine condition. The car has original tinted glass all around and is in fine condition. Included: both fender skirts, all four original hubcaps, Mercury shop and repair manuals and the electrical system schematic and installation diagrams. Also included are several of the original parts replaced over the years including the radio, generator with mount, carb, distributor, spare fuel pump.
