Up for auction is my 2004 Honda CR-V. I purchased this car from my friend, who was the original owner. The car has routinely been serviced at the Honda dealership and recently had an SRS airbag recall completed that included installation of two new airbags. While the car was in for the airbag recall she had Honda install a new battery with warranty. She completed the recalls and sold the car to me as she leased a new RAV4. I picked up the car as a run around vehicle as she was routinely getting 26mph on long trips and I've been driving a Ridgeline that gets around 18 mpg if I'm lucky. Once I picked up the car I did some servicing of my own just to make sure everything was fresh. The car has two new front tires, that she had installed and they're not my favorite. The tires are Westlakes and if I was going to keep the car I'd likely swap them out for Coopers. The tires are great all the way around and new up front, just not what I normally use. I installed new front rotors and pads and completed a triple flush and refill of the automatic transmission as per Honda recommended procedure with Honda spec ATF. I completed an oil and filter change with Valvoline synthetic oil and a Purolator filter I installed NGK platinum plugs and a new Gates serpentine belt. I replaced the air filter and cleaned the throttle body and the car runs absolutely flawlessly. The AC is ice cold and really only drops the mileage a bit if you're not running at 90 mph. I replaced the factory CD/Cassette player (included with code) with a Sony Media AM/FM headunit that has Pandora Bluetooth streaming, USB charging and Siri handsfree calling. I use handsfree units in all of my cars and this Sony in honestly much clearer on phone calls than my Pioneer Apple Carplay unit that cost considerably more. Honestly, the stereo system is quite impressive for such a economy minded car. There are a number of slight dings in the body and a significant dent in the passenger side from someone bumping the car while parked. The dent doesn't affect the doors at all. The interior has no rips or tears and everything works to include the alarm and keyless entry The car comes with two sets of keys and keyless fobs as well as all of the stock mats that aren't currently installed. I've been driving the car for a month or so and have put on a few thousand miles and I'm selling it for one very specific reason....I'm trading my Ridgeline in on a newer one. There are millions of these CRV's on the road for a reason...They're flat out awesome! Great mileage, tons or room inside, storage pockets everywhere and a picnic table....IT HAS A PICNIC TABLE! I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's a neat little camping table that Honda includes that's stowed beneath the rear carpet. I've taken it on four three hour one way trips with nothing but good fuel mileage to report. The wheels have locking lugs...not that anyone would steal them as they have some surface rust, but the lug key is in the glove box and the jack and lug wrench are stowed in the rear. It's a fantastic little SUV and would make a great first car or commuter car for a college student. My apologies...the flame mats aren't included. They were a gift from my dearly departed father.
