Vehicle Detail

Just a quick update - The truck has been started and is running great as of 4/14/17. Because it has not been getting driven as much as it used to lately, the battery is low. But it can certainly be taken for a test drive or picked up and driven home by a local buyer. This truck would make a great work truck or restoration project. The body is relatively straight (some dents) -- minus the tailgate (see photos). That's rusty and rough as you can see in the photos (I have more photos upon request; just message me). The truck has typical superficial rust on the hood, roof and a little on the side panels here and there. The aftermarket CD player works good and as of right now all of the power features are working, but the P/W & P/L are notorious for repeatedly wearing out on these and needing frequent replacement. The A/C blows, but is not cold. The interior is rough, but cleans up pretty well. With some TLC, this will make a fine and reliable work truck. The rack is included but the toolbox is not. The truck runs great. However, it needs a battery and has some minor oil, P/S, and coolant leaks (t-stat); but it is fully driveable. With a jump start, it runs great and starts right up. I have noticed a bit of a delay with the transmission engagement when it's cold out (early morning), parked at an extreme angle, and/or been sitting a few days. It might need transmission work, but again, it's been running and driving daily as is. The frame has been welded a few times because the steering box has sheared off from the frame. Right now all is good, as it was repaired by an expert welder/welding inspector, but I believe the oversize rims and tires are the source of this specific problem (see last photo of repair). The tires and wheels are not stock and these trucks have weak steering systems from the factory. (I can supply another up close photo of this repair if needed.) In any case, the truck cleans up pretty well inside and out. What you see in the pics is what you're getting. The fuel pump was rebuilt about two+ years ago and the truck has had its regular maintenance since I have owned it, which is quite a few years now. The original owner's manual is in the glove box and is included. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm very easygoing and open to any and all reasonable bids. **Owing to the leaks and current battery status, the truck must be towed/transported to the buyer's destination, unless the buyer is local. If the buyer is local, he/she may drive it home (we'll jump start it), or I may consider transporting the truck for the buyer if the buyer pays for the towing device rental and disconnects the driveshaft for towing. Thank you and good luck bidding!!**
