We are the ORIGINAL OWNERS of a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia 1.9L factory water-cooled engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Runs and drives great. Good breaks, no vibrations, 100% stock, no modifications, original carpets, original seats. We purchased this car in 1984 from the VW manufacturer in Hannover, Germany. I have well detailed maintenance records including the 1,000 mile service that was performed in Germany that Summer. This Westie toured Europe, been on the other side of the Iron Curtain going through Check Point Charlie, made two cross country trips, visited Yosemite National Park, The Grand Canyon, Glacier National Parks, Mt. Rainer, Mesa Verde, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, to name a few. We put 10,000 miles on the camper going up past the arctic circle finding musk ox and reindeer and many other beautiful sites and campgrounds throughout the U.S. and Canada. This car is the perfect travel companion for any family trip! This Westie has new spark plugs, new battery, replaced front brake pads and both both front brake calibers as well as both rear brake cylinders, cleaned lubed and adjusted rear brake shoes, brake lines were flushed and bleed and filled with new brake hydraulic fluid. The bad; some very minor surface rust (all visible in photos), however there is no mentionable rust on any of the undercarriage. This Westie has AC, but not currently working. The canvas top will need to be replaced. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a 1984 Westie from its original owners with all of its original parts.
