My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Dodge Caliber with 127k miles. The Dodge Caliber is a sporty hatchback car that is much more roomy than it looks. I would rate the exterior of this Caliber to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. She is finished in a light blue over gray cloth interior with matching blue cloth inserts in the seats. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there are two dents in the hood, a few scratches on the roof and some visible damage to the one corner of the grille. All in all, not too bad for a 10 year old car. The paint shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory polished alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Caliber to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. I'll get right to the bad first. The carpets are visibly soiled from age and the interior does not smell very good. I do nothing to detail or recondition vehicles before they are sold, so there is a good chance that a few hours worth of scrubbing would make a huge difference. I simply don't have that much time to put into one single vehicle. The door cards look good and are tight. The seats show well for their age and aren't excessively worn. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. It has been too cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working effectively but I can tell you that the heater works great. The cargo area is very big for a smaller vehicle. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos and know that you'll have a bit of cleaning to do inside the car. Mechanically, this Caliber appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. You can feel that the front bushings are showing their age, so you'll probably need to replace those. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. She makes good power and gets around easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. Again, you get a bit of noise from those worn bushings but nothing awful...just put them on your short list. The only other bad thing I can say about this car is that the right front light cluster does not work...at all. I haven't looked into it, but nothing within that housing works. If you're looking for a reliable vehicle that is inexpensive and versatile, this would be a great car. You also get the chance to put a bit of sweat equity into it, which is nice. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
