Vehicle Detail
If your going to take the time and build a Speedster you might as well do it all including your paint! I have been planning on starting this project for months but have too many others going on and need the garage space. I have tons of money into this car so whoever buys it will be getting a nice deal. This is an absolute sale. 0 reserve. This car is sitting on a 76 VW pan that has been shorted. There is a sub frame on the pan that offers the correct support for the 356 body. This work was done very nice and they drilled a few holes if someone would like to add heat channels from the motor. The door hinges have been installed but it will need door handles and latches. There are 4 brand new Centerline wheels with brand new tires. Also has New disc brakes with never used rotors. Brake will need a master cylinder and brake lines. The front suspension has a adjustable narrowed beam with drop spindles. New Shocks all around. Has original VW rear suspension plates which is why it it slightly higher then the front. EMPI Shifter. I have taken pictures of all the extra parts. There are too many to list out but there are a bunch of nice parts needed for the build. I have the brown interior kit with black carpet. There are custom made fiberglass seats for the front. This car i not too far from running. Will need wired which i have the kit included. gas tank is clean! Comes with VW gauges if you choose to use them. Transmission was fine before the car was built and it is very clean. Was going to use a freeway flyer so it would be good on the highway. Has a clean title under the vin on the 76 VW beetle pan. Now for the best part:CP Performance 2332 EFI Turbo motor that is like new. Has only had 3-5 tanks of gas ran through it ever. This was built as a strong mild build so that it would last. Let me know if you have any questions or need motor specifics. Serious buyers only. Bidders without feedback must contact me. No refund on deposit. I know i have left off a lot of details. I would have at least 7,000 dollars into this motor to replace it with the same set up. Parts i know of that are missing from the car:Door handles and latches (comes with hinges)truck/hood latches. (comes with hinges)Windshield. Wheel center caps (can choose from many on line that work)brake lines & master seat rails Other:I have a brand new top that is not in the pictures. let me know if you want more pictures ebay would only let me post 24 but i had 45 to put up. I do not know the manufacture of the body. It is a wide body and very thick. I was told by someone that they thought it was a Classic Motor Carriages (CMC). I cant confirm that. This is truly an awesome clean car. You will be happy when you see its condition and parts. You will have a high dollar build when assembled. On a side note I also have the DP motor from the 76 chassis. Thanks, Happy Bidding
