I would rather keep and restore this car, but lack the resources to do so. My mechanic says the following: Engine is basically sound, but harness wiring is brittle, & the turbo needs some work. Interior has been fried to a crisp by the hot Arizona sun. I am NOT a mechanic, so I am selling the Z AS IS, for restoration or parts. There are some rust areas on the body. The car is for local pickup only, in Tempe, AZ. No title. Stick shift. Mileage is 162,947. VIN id number JN1HZ06SOBX401580 The car needs a new wiring harness before it can be driven. The Z must be towed by the buyer. My mechanic says the engine is not frozen. It turns over but the engine will not stay running because of the wiring harness. The car needs work to be drivable. The $280 deposit is NONREFUNDABLE. Serious buyers only, please! Your Motor Vehicle Division will tell you what you need to do to get the title in your name. AAA in Arizona also has a special division to help members aquire title. Since I lack the funds to restore the car, there is no point in paying the fees to put the title in my name. The listing also says "clear", meaning there are no liens against the car. The title was in my Wife's name, but she passed away. The Z was always a fantastic car for us. I am retired now, so I do not have the income stream necessary to restore the car. Therefore, there is no point in getting a new title in my name. The Z must be towed by buyer within 24 hours after payment is completed. Upon completion of payment, I will hand the Z car key to the buyer. Completion of payment must be made within 72 hours after the payment of the initial nonrefundable deposit.
