Thank you for checking out my 2012 Heron White Chevrolet Caprice Police Pursuit Vehicle. This was used by Phoenix detectives to travel all over the state doing investigative business. I found the log book which I will include in sale detailing trips most everywhere in Arizona running two shifts. This is the reason for the 169K highway miles on odometer. Being a municipal vehicle it underwent rigorous scheduled maintenance and is in tip top shape. The engine designed by Chevrolet engineers is calibrated for police duty & active fuel management. It has years of Chevrolet's research & development behind it and comes equipped with a pursuit rated & powerful 3.6-liter V-6, rated at 301 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. A heavy duty 6 speed automatic transmission with special police calibration settings & sport mode ( This transmission is specially programmed to maximize acceleration!) It has 18 x 8 inch heavy duty steel rims shod with NEW high speed tires and with the high performance suspension providing instant response and handles like a dream. The special braking system (13 inch rotors) will bring you back to earth with confidence. It also has a special police specific cooler for the transmission and the extra capacity radiator is efficient in Arizona to keep it safely idling for hours. The cloth seats are excellent and interior makes passengers (5) say, "This is really nice inside." You will not believe the spacious rear seats because the vehicle was built to provide extra room for protective prisoner partition which was never installed.The biggest difference between this car and that formerly known as the Pontiac G8 is its size. Stretched 3.7 inches between the wheels—overall length is up 8.1—the Caprice has a startling amount of space inside. I would be happy to sit in the back seat for overnight stakeouts, the 43.1 inches of legroom nearly equaling that of a long-wheelbase BMW 7-series. Power window, power locks, Am/Fm/CD with 6 speakers and it comes with the police owners manual and FOUR keys. There are a few minor screw holes in console where communication equipment was but are only a reminder of the vehicle's provenance. The trunk is clean and has a brand new tire for a spare. The trunk is spacious so I have no trouble with a couple of golf bags plus all my support junk and still have room for groceries. Being a 76 year old gentleman I must thin the fleet of 9 vehicles as my wife reminds me of everyday. Please check out my feedback and buy with confidence.
