My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet with just 111k miles. I would rate the exterior of this CLK to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking convertible overall. It is finished in Azure Blue over Oyster, which is a good color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this CLK, the only thing worth mentioning specifically are a few dents in the hood near the nose. Other than that, just your normal scratches and marks associated with an older vehicle. The finish has a deep shine and looks smooth all around. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The soft top looks to be original and shows very well for it's age. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos closely. I would rate the interior of this CLK320 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The interior shows normal wear for an older car. The door cards are tight and show well. The carpets show a few normal marks but are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. The seats also show a normal amount of wear, but nothing horrible. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. There is an issue with the power top. I am not very familiar with the CLK's so I'm not the best at diagnosing them from experience. The light stays lit all the time. The back part of the top does not latch completely tight. You don't get any wind noise or anything while driving, but you can see that it isn't latched. When you go to lower the top, the windows roll down but nothing else happens. If I had to guess, I'd say the fault lies at the rear latch, but that's just an educated guess. The trunk is spacious and clean. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's a little too cold to be able to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working effectively, but everything seems to be in order. The heater works very well. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this CLK320 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.2L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. If I'm being picky, there is a very light vibration in the steering at highway speeds...but nothing bad. To be honest, it very well could just be the tires being a little out of round from sitting around for a few weeks before I was able to road test this car. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
