Vehicle Detail

Selling my classic BMW R90/6 in Monza blue. Just had valves, timing, electrical cleanup, carb rebuild, new inline fuel filters, new fuel hoses & new battery. Recent seat re-cover as well. This bike has taken me to California and back, up to Colorado, and around town for the past several years. It has loads of good upgrades, including: Dual disc front setup, like the R90s, rahter than the stock single disc. Dyna Electronic ignition (of course) Billet aluminum top triple clamp Works performance rear shocks Progressive front springs aftermarket fork brace Black powdercoated luggage rack with a good set of Krauser/BMW saddle bags These suspension and handling upgrades make this a great riding bike, and it can really take care of twisties and corners. Great example of a classic bike, and generally regarded as the BEST year R90 made. Current mileage is 80K and change. The seat is in great shape, and chrome rear grab rail is in place (with a small spot where chrome came off, and a few TINY rust spots which will come off with steel wool. The 5.5 gallon tank is in great shape, with clean rubber sides and no dents anywhere. Fenders clean, with good pinstriping, and a few small paint chips. Oh, and there's a nice ride-off custom center stand, in addition to the regular side stand. There are no known mechanical issues. Starts, stops, and idles nicely, all lights work, and ready to ride. Cosmetic issues: Small paint chips where tank saddle meets the frame from removing tank when fuel lines were replaced (See pics for how small) Left side battery cover has a small crack and chip out of top corner (see pics) Aftermarket running light (one side only) and exposed switch housing on that extra light swith (see pic) This is the only kind of lame thing I see on the bike at the moment. Couldn't decide to either remove the one light and associated wiring (It's handy), or add a new set and second horn (Where wiring is still in place to do both...) The tachometer glass has a small straight crack in the glass (See pic) Tiny rust spots here and there, nothing bad, and certainly passes the 5 foot look test Feel free to text or call Five 1 two five 1 seven 1 seven 6 seven for a showing. If local sale, no test rides without current MC endorsement, proper riding gear, AND cash in hand. I would not sell, but I'm in process of trying to buy a house, so all funds must be gathered asap... In terms of pickup- I am willing to deliver this Motorcycle in early April to any of the following locations: Anywhere West or North of Austin Texas within the state of Texas, specifically along the route you'd drive to Colorado, as well as the following areas- Sante Fe NM area, and anywhere along I-25 or US285 between Southern NM and Northern Colorado. Denver Colorado, is especially easy. I run a business that sends dedicated trucks along this route about once per month from now through August. Happy bidding, and thanks for looking/reading all this...
