Here's what I know about the 65 mustang. It is owned by a lawyer friend of mine that took it as payment for his lawyer fees. It had sat for years before given to my friend. Mice had chewed up lot of the wiring in the engine compartment. He turned it over to a technician who worked on it off and on for a year rewiring and cleaning up the engine compartment. It now starts and runs very smooth. I am surprised at the lack of rust on or under the vehicle. This would make a great candidate for a restoration. The paint is in less than average condition. Behind the drivers door at the right angle you can see sand marks in the paint. Although my friend drove it 25 miles to my lot, I wouldn't recommend driving it that far. The suspension is very loose and needs some attention. One of the front fenders was replaced at some point because it doesn't have the vin number stamped on it. The other one does. You are welcome to send a third party inspector at your cost to see it. You are also welcome to drive around the subdivision close by or even bring a mechanic with you. This vehicle will be sold as-is without Missouri safety and emissions inspections. By Missouri law, any vehicle sold without inspections must be towed off of the lot.
