Listing this 1965 original 396 BBC, 4 speed roadster with side pipes for a friend of mine. As the pictures show this car was in a serious accident back in the 80's or 90's and has been in dry storage ever since. Indications that it was an original 396 car are left side battery tray, clues of having factory TI ignition and fuel line location. That said it does not have matching numbers motor, but it is an era correct 396 BBC with casting # 3855861that had just been rebuilt at the time of accident. It does have a clear title from The State of Texas... not a salvage title. In its day this was a modified street racer, including tilt front end, and well known in the Houston area. Frame is damaged and bird cage is twisted. Rebuildable??? Can be seen in Houston with appointment. Sold as is and where is. Buyer responsible for pick up.
