My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Lincoln Town Car. The Lincoln Town Car is a full sized luxury sedan that has one of the absolute best reputations out there. These cars require minimal maintenance, run forever and get remarkable fuel economy for their size. I would rate the exterior of this Town Car to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Ivory Parchment with a brown top over matching Light Parchment, which looks good. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Town Car, the worst I can point out are a few marks on the LF fender and a small bit of paint chipped off where the door borders that fender. Please check out each of the photos carefully. All of the trim and cladding is present and looks good. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The cloth top shows well and really compliments the look of this Town Car. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Town Car to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The driver's door card and center arm rest show normal elbow wear. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking. The leather seats are comfortable and clean. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's too cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working properly but I can tell you that the heater works well. The audio system is the original Alpine audio system sounds great. Rear seat room is, of course, generous. The wood interior trim looks good and gives the interior a warm feel. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Town Car appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. She does pull a little to the right and you can feel a vibration in the steering wheel at cruising speed so I'd recommend a trip to the alignment shop before you rack up too many miles. I've personally driven this Town Car about 100 miles on my road test and she got me around just fine. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she cruises easily...which is what these cars are designed to do. My only complaint would be the aforementioned vibration / alignment issue up front at cruising speed. These cars are known to run and run. It is normal to see these cars in the 300k - 400k mile range with just routine maintenance. They drive great and get remarkable fuel economy out on the open highway. I've personally seen mileage in the upper 20's on long trips. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Our preferred payment method is Cash in Person. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone.
