Up for auction is a 1968 Jeepster Commando with fiberglass cj5 tub and nose . Original 231 v6 Buick and 3 spd trans work well. 4wd transfer case in correct , quiet working ,smooth shifting condition. This is a proffesionaly built road worthy rig that was on the road till this fall. I used it for hunting season and around farm almost daily this winter. Starts, runs, goes, stops and looks decent. Gauges , lights, wipers and speedo in working condition. This is not in parade ready condition but looks and functions as it should. If you need shiny paint and chrome, go to the dealership. If you are looking for a reliable, road worthy jeep that will go in woods and through mud come take a look. Will demonstrate. The reason I will part with it is height restriction. I am 6'3" and leg and head room is an issue. Starting at what I paid before top was installed. Can also supply winter hard top as I have 3 extras.
