1965 Chevy El Camino. Original 283 2-speed power glide. I bought this off of a gentleman that had owned it since 1993 and it was his everyday driver for 8 years. The motor was rebuilt in 2001, and was driven very little after. I’m thinking he was the 3rd owner. He gave me all the paperwork he had from the past owners, service records, insurance certs and parts purchased for the car including the motor receipts dated back to 1965, as pictured above. Runs great, doesn’t smoke or use oil. It’s been changed to Hei and has aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel, power steering works great. The car has manual drum brakes that have no issues and a very solid peddle Interior is all new…door panels, arm rest bases, carpet, seat reupholstered. Headliner is in great shape, so I didn’t replace it but I have a new one that goes with it. Tires have 0 miles on them with new caps and rings on the wheels. Tail gate had a dent in it, so I replaced the whole skin. Bed had some surface rust in it so it’s been totally sanded, primed and repainted when I did the tailgate. I have taken pictures of the bad spots on the hood, drivers’ lower quarter. Paint is not perfect; it’s solid 7 out of 10. Floor pans are very solid with a couple of rust spots on the passenger side. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side, other than that all glass is on great shape. Clean and clear title with up to date tags.
