Hi, here is a 2009 Ford Focus SE, with right at 200,000 miles...I've been a rural mail carrier for 36 years, the Focus has been my choice for about the last 20 years. The car is filthy dirty but I would say "dependable" - Its use has been mostly gravel roads thus the paint missing along the rocker panel areas and a couple cracks in the windshield ya can kinda see in one of the pics. Air & heater work great, drives good, tires are mostly good ( 2 or 3 are quite good shape). There is no rear brakes as I have done with at least my last 4 cars--when the rear brakes are shot (usually around 120,000 miles I block the rear off) you can't hardly notice the diff. in stopping, but you need to know that! I would not be afraid to head off to California with it---its just damn dirty!!!! Motor runs great, tranny shifts great, I just wouldn't want a teen driving it--it's a great going to the field car or a parts runner,,,,hec even a driver if ya don't mind the interior being dirty... One more thing, the rear door latchs are broke so I put those little latches on them, (as one of the pictures show) -- work great for using (just wouldn't want some in the back), cause they ain't gettin out without you opening the door... Car is sold as is with no warranty or guarantee implied---also is for sale locally so auction may end early. It's not fancy but has some good years left in my opinion.
