1979 Jeep CJ-5 VIN: J9F83AH006003 Odometer: 93,274 AMC 304 V8 3 speed Awesome Jeep CJ-5 running and driving registered and titled as PA antique vehicle. Jeep has cool vintage rims. Soft top. Recent master cylinder and brake service. I don’t drive her much due to the handling. Steering seems loose and no power steering. Motor starts up and will idle all day after warmed up. Sounds strong. Clutch and transmission seem ok to me. All lights work although light switch is broken. You can use a jumper wire in place of the switch. There is a new turn signal switch installed, however signals don’t cancel properly and horn does not work. Overall the wiring seems ok but temperature and fuel gauge need replaced and not functioning properly. Windshield has a crack. Jeep was mechanic owned and maintained regularly. She was born blue. I took some shots of the frame which has scale and surface rust. I’m certain the frame is solid and would clean up well during restoration. Maybe the perfect candidate for a fiberglass tub? Jeep has been patched on floorboards (see pics). I’ll do my best to schedule inspections and test drives. Clear PA title ready to transfer. I will convey antique license plate if you’d like. No inspection / emissions or yearly registration fee required.
