Up for sale is my very clean 99 Ducati 996 Biposto. The bike has only 9k; runs and rides excellent. Mods include:- Termignoni 45mm carbon fiber exhaust- Mapped ecu- Carbon fiber open clutch cover- Fender eliminator & led signals- Carbon fiber tank cover, heal guards & key guard- Marchesini 5 spoke wheels in satin black- Zero Gravity double bubble smoked windscreenThis bike has always been dealer maintained....I have nearly all of the receipts:- Timing service completed @ 6,628 miles: new timing belts, valve check and adjustment, fluids, fuel filter, plugs, etc...) - New Michelin Pilot Power 3's (f&r) @ 8,400 miles- Brand new front and rear wave brake rotors & sintered pads @ 9,040 miles. - The oil has been changed every season (Mobil 1 full synthetic 10w40 4T), along with fresh Motul synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid. This bike has NO issues with flaking rockers as many of the earlier 996's did. Also, the fuel light IS functional (another common issue for these bikes)!This generation (748/916/996/998) is peharps the most beautiful and innovative throughout Ducati's history. Much of the technology and styling has stemmed from this era. Again, the bike is in great condition cosmetically as well as mechanically...I would trust riding it anywhere.
