This is a solid 1955 chevy truck Body - Basically solid- Rust on the floor step pans (completely rusted through)- Door hinges need some work although doors open and close solid- Fenders, Box, Doors, and Hood have good solid metal and are straight with some scratched and dings- Glass is original and all intact, windshield has two small chips and the usual discoloration on edges, back glass good, door glass good, wing glass on passenger side is cracked Frame- From what I can tell is solid (see pictures) Interior- Has non original seat- Dash has speedo and heater controls but both need repaired to be functional- Would need to have electrical gone through (probably a new harness)- Missing door and window cranks- Dash is intact but would need redone Motor/Tranny- Has a 327 V8 that will start and run and sounds solid but need to be adjusted to be daily driver- 4 speed Borg Warner T10 Transmission - Clutch works but not a lot of pedal- Brakes work all original drums Truck will start and run and you can shift through all gears and the brakes work, but certainly would need some adjustments to be a dependable daily driver. So, just to be clear this truck will need to be picked up. Starts and can be driven on carrier/trailer, but is not a road worthy vehicle. It would need to have all systems gone through to be a dependable driver. Truck is solid, but is still a project that needs to be completed.
