Vehicle Detail

Bought the car from a guy who took it in trade for some land clearing work. I basically took it home, washed it off, cleaned up the inside, and here it is. It has been sitting under a barn for the last 15 years or so. Was bought by a Georgia buyer in 1990. I don't know much about these cars but it seemed to be in restorable condition and didn't want to see it crushed. Color is burgundy but from the peeling paint, appears it may have been green at one time. Cracked windshield, rust holes in both floorpans, where your feet would rest, and another just under the front of the seat (but not really big, seem patchable but I'm not a body-man) and both inner fenders under the hood (at both corners--under the battery tray and the opposite corner.) Also where the water drains just in front of both doors (see pics). Both windows on the passenger side are gone. Windshield has a crack. Back glass and passenger side glass intact. Frame is good as best I can tell. Surface rust only. Cool looking vented hood--read online this was a mid-year model change to accommodate for vapor lock common in this model. Not sure what the "LTD" symbol on the hood is all about. Straight 6 set up with a manifold for a 4-bbl carb. Not sure if that's factory or aftermarket add-on. Carb missing. 4-speed manual transmission. Dash is cracked, gauges all look good. Interior is all worn and cracked.. Carpet missing. Wiring is rough--it's been gnawed on by rats over the years and no telling how many hands trying to get it running. I have tried to show pictures so you could get an idea about the body condition--rust here and there, some dings and dents. Please let me know if you have any questions or you need additional pictures. I don't know much about these z-cars but figured somebody would like to take it on as a project. It has not run in many years so I have no idea as to the condition of the motor or transmission. I tracked down the guy who bought it in 1990 for his teenage son. Had some sort of wiring issue and kept cutting off. (vapor lock, maybe?) He bought and installed all kinds of stereo equipment--this might have been the root of the wiring problem. Someone busted the rear glass on the passenger side to steal said stereo equipment. Couldn't find a replacement glass so it sat in the yard until another fellow bought it for HIS grandson. I just don't know how long it's been sitting. **This is most certainly a complete rebuild, or a parts car. Don't bid if you don't want it. ** Non payment for 7 days will result in relisting. But I guess you can see that from the pictures. Sorry for any confusion.
