Hi and thanks for looking! I'm selling a original paint, 3 owner since new 1969 Triumph Bonneville! This is an absolutely gorgeous survivor bike with great vintage character that has been carefully upgraded to improve drivability without loosing any of the original charm. This Triumph is a fantastic rider with a very strong engine, its undergone a full top end rebuild with .040 over pistons, new valves, valve seats, small end bearing, exhaust headers and so on. the ignition system has also been upgraded with the addition of a Boyer digital ignition system and a new battery for easier starting and improved reliability (all original ignition components will come with the bike). The wheels are the original Dunlop's that came with the motorcycle in 1969 and the Amal carbs are original to the bike as well. As previously stated, this bike has only had three owner since it was new with the previous owner keeping the bike for over 40 years! All of the previous owners singed and dated the underside of the gas tank before they sold it, so this bike has a fantastic and tangible history of ownership! Being a classic motorcycle it does still have a few issues; the bike leaves two nickel sized drops of oil after its been parked, the speedometer is working but it reads fast, the tachometer doesn't work, the pegs are slightly bent from parking lot drops over the years and it'll need new tires before anyone does much more riding on it. Considering its a 47 year old, mostly original British motorcycle its in excellent condition!
