Please read whole ad before bidding! Since I had so many questions asking if the car is running I had someone come by and put some fresh gas in the intake and it started right up and runs great!! 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL Convertible 2 Owner Car with ONLY 55K Original Miles!! Clean Car Fax! This car has been in storage for about 10 year and was just removed to put up for sale. The car is not road ready its been sitting untouched, the gas is bad and should be gone over. The exterior is stunning and looks to be all original. The paint looks to be original, its glossy and smooth as can be! The interior is also stunning for a 30 year old car and mostly original except for a stereo upgrade before it was put in storage. Under the hood the car is un molested and original. The underside of the car is clean and solid with no side of any major rust. I did remove the hard top and the soft top is there and it appears original and needs replacing. The car also has chrome wheels that need rechroming. Due to the fuilds being 10 years old I did not want attempt starting the car using the gas in the car and clogging up the fuel injection with any crappy fuel. I did disconnect the fuel pump, put fresh fuel in the intake, and put a jump on the battery and the motor started right up and ran beautiful no problem with a touch of the key. Like any 30 year car the are a few exterior flaw but all minor and the interior also has some wear but very little.
