For Sale is a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible - 289c.i. V8 - automatic - power steering - power top - the body is straight except for a dent at the right rear where the bumper got pushed into the quarter panel - there are misc dings and chips in the paint -the paint is faded and dull - the convertible top frame goes up and down and locks into place - there is no fabric on the frame - a new black fabric top and rear window comes with the car - the interior is complete but will need a new dash pad, 2 new door panels are included - the front seat will need a new front seat cover - the rear seat is faded but in very good shape - the rear frame rails have some rot - I removed some sheet metal patches and some U channel pieces that the previous owner installed and painted black to hide the damage on the frame - it is repairable - the trunk floor was replaced by the previous owner - The car runs - starts right up - the engine is very clean and is supposed to have been rebuilt not too long ago - the transmission is also very clean is supposed to have been rebuilt - I do not have documentation of either - the brakes will need some work - it seems that one of the front brakes is not working - it still has the original style single line master cylinder - there is no exhaust - Y pipe from manifolds only - I have some new weatherstripping and convertible top weatherstripping . I have the vehicle for sale locally and I reserve the right to stop the Ebay listing if a reasonable offer is accepted by me locally.
