This auction is for a very early production 1967 VW Beetle with sunroof. It runs well and I believe the engine was recently rebuilt. It has a new disc brake conversion on the front end and new tires all around. I believe the original colors were dark green over white. The VIN number indicates that this car was built in mid-Aug of 1966 and is one of the earlier '67s. The pan of this CO car is solid. The paint is decent...looks good from 10 feet. This car is not quite a driver as it sits, but is very close to being one. This is a great little car but I am limited on time and space and have too many projects right now.
