My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with just 89k original miles. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that offers a great value in a used vehicle. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. It is finished in a desirable green over tan and shows well for it's age. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Jeep, there are a few spots here and there (roof and RF door) that show a little fading from age. Also, the body cladding is showing a little fading along the top. This is common with age. The green finish has a mile deep shine overall and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the cladding is present and shows well for it's age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee Limited to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As with the exterior, the interior shows well overall but does have some common age-related issues. The door cards are clean. The inserts show some wear, which is common. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not worn excessively. The dash and headliner are clean, although the headliner is loose at a few spots...this is also common. The tan leather seats are clean and comfortable. The two front seats have some torn stitching on the cushions, which is normal with age. The power windows, locks and seats appear to be working properly. The the RF seat does not raise and lower. The mirror selector switch is missing. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and it is too cold out to know whether or not the air conditioner works as it should. The audio system is the origial Infinity Gold sound with in-dash CD. The speakers don't sound that great anymore, but the radio does work. A full set of books and manuals are included. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 5.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The front end has a little float, but nothing more than normal for a Grand Cherokee. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The big V8 makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system is tested and working properly. This is one of the nicer driving Grand Cherokee's I've had in quite some time. If I had to sum of this Jeep...I'd say it is cosmetically a 1996 but runs and drives like you'd expect an 89k mile Jeep to run and drive, which is how I'd want it. The little stuff you can pick at here and there, as you want...but all of the important stuff feels rock solid. This Grand Cherokee has a PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2017. If you're looking for an older Grand Cherokee that hasn't been all used up, this low mile Limited definitely deserves your serious consideration. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with just 89k original miles. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that offers a great value in a used vehicle. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. It is finished in a desirable green over tan and shows well for it's age. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Jeep, there are a few spots here and there (roof and RF door) that show a little fading from age. Also, the body cladding is showing a little fading along the top. This is common with age. The green finish has a mile deep shine overall and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the cladding is present and shows well for it's age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee Limited to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As with the exterior, the interior shows well overall but does have some common age-related issues. The door cards are clean. The inserts show some wear, which is common. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not worn excessively. The dash and headliner are clean, although the headliner is loose at a few spots...this is also common. The tan leather seats are clean and comfortable. The two front seats have some torn stitching on the cushions, which is normal with age. The power windows, locks and seats appear to be working properly. The the RF seat does not raise and lower. The mirror selector switch is missing. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and it is too cold out to know whether or not the air conditioner works as it should. The audio system is the origial Infinity Gold sound with in-dash CD. The speakers don't sound that great anymore, but the radio does work. A full set of books and manuals are included.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 5.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The front end has a little float, but nothing more than normal for a Grand Cherokee. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The big V8 makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system is tested and working properly. This is one of the nicer driving Grand Cherokee's I've had in quite some time. If I had to sum of this Jeep...I'd say it is cosmetically a 1996 but runs and drives like you'd expect an 89k mile Jeep to run and drive, which is how I'd want it. The little stuff you can pick at here and there, as you want...but all of the important stuff feels rock solid. This Grand Cherokee has a PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of July, 2017. If you're looking for an older Grand Cherokee that hasn't been all used up, this low mile Limited definitely deserves your serious consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
