I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid fo each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 2000 Porsche Boxster. This auction is a little different than most because I've had this car mostly all summer. I bought it for myself to drive. I own a few fun things that aren't for sale...some of which are getting to the age where I need to start thinking about preserving them and keeping the miles off of them so I bought this to have a fun convertible to drive when I wanted in an effort to keep miles off of some of my more valuable cars. I purchased this Porsche from a large, multi-franchise new car dealer group who had taken it in on trade. This Boxster has a PA Reconstructed title. The Reconstructed Title I have was issued in 2014 so I know it has been on the road driving around for the last two years and 20k miles...which is enough time for anything to go wrong, if it's going to do so. As I said, I've owned this car all summer and have personally put the last 1,000 miles on this car with absolutely no issues. She has been perfectly reliable and an absolute blast. Over the winter, things get a little tight around my warehouse and I can't justify storing it for next year or I'd definitely keep it. I would rate the exteriof of this Boxster to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking roadster. It is finished in silver with a black top and matching black leather interior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Obviously, this car has had body work and has most likely been repainted. There is a spot on the front bumper cover where the paint is chipped off, as well as two smaller spots on the left side at the convertible top cover. I don't have any history on the car as far as what happened to it so please don't ask. From what I can see, the front bumper looks to be aftermarket because it doesn't line up perfectly at the corners by the headlights. The convertible top looks to be original and shows well for it's age. The top does not leak. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and the tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Boxster to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight, with storage pockets built into them. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The factory Porsche floor mats are also included. Both seats are power operated, which was optional. The power windows, locks, mirrors and convertible top all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. It was this way when I got the car and I really didn't care because I only drove this car on days where the weather was suitable. If it was scorching hot, I just drove something else. The trunks are surprisingly roomy for such a small car. I bought my first Boxster back in 2001 when they were fairly new. It was a fun car then and it's a fun car now. Mechanically, this Boxster appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L flat six starts easily and runs smoothly. In my time with this car, it has not consumed any oil and I've not seen evidence of any other leaks. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The only thing I think she'll be due for on next inspection is a new set of sway bar end links, which is a common wear item. Steering and braking are great. These cars are so neutral and balanced. Despite not making a ton of power, I'd still say this is the most fun you can have in a car for the money...and I've owned and driven plenty of cars. It's like a go-kart. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. I could listen to this engine rev all day. There have been no idiot lights on recently. The check engine light was on for a while but it went off and I haven't seen it lately. I never bothered to pull the code when it was on because the car ran like a raped ape and it didn't bother me. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She cruises easily at triple digit speeds with complete confidence. On winding back roads, you feel like you're driving on carpet with velcro tires. Like I said, I can't think of a single car that is this much fun for the same money. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of May, 2017. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE autions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid fo each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 2000 Porsche Boxster. This auction is a little different than most because I've had this car mostly all summer. I bought it for myself to drive. I own a few fun things that aren't for sale...some of which are getting to the age where I need to start thinking about preserving them and keeping the miles off of them so I bought this to have a fun convertible to drive when I wanted in an effort to keep miles off of some of my more valuable cars. I purchased this Porsche from a large, multi-franchise new car dealer group who had taken it in on trade. This Boxster has a PA Reconstructed title. The Reconstructed Title I have was issued in 2014 so I know it has been on the road driving around for the last two years and 20k miles...which is enough time for anything to go wrong, if it's going to do so. As I said, I've owned this car all summer and have personally put the last 1,000 miles on this car with absolutely no issues. She has been perfectly reliable and an absolute blast. Over the winter, things get a little tight around my warehouse and I can't justify storing it for next year or I'd definitely keep it.
I would rate the exteriof of this Boxster to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking roadster. It is finished in silver with a black top and matching black leather interior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. Obviously, this car has had body work and has most likely been repainted. There is a spot on the front bumper cover where the paint is chipped off, as well as two smaller spots on the left side at the convertible top cover. I don't have any history on the car as far as what happened to it so please don't ask. From what I can see, the front bumper looks to be aftermarket because it doesn't line up perfectly at the corners by the headlights. The convertible top looks to be original and shows well for it's age. The top does not leak. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and the tires show average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this Boxster to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight, with storage pockets built into them. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The factory Porsche floor mats are also included. Both seats are power operated, which was optional. The power windows, locks, mirrors and convertible top all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. It was this way when I got the car and I really didn't care because I only drove this car on days where the weather was suitable. If it was scorching hot, I just drove something else. The trunks are surprisingly roomy for such a small car. I bought my first Boxster back in 2001 when they were fairly new. It was a fun car then and it's a fun car now.
Mechanically, this Boxster appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L flat six starts easily and runs smoothly. In my time with this car, it has not consumed any oil and I've not seen evidence of any other leaks. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The only thing I think she'll be due for on next inspection is a new set of sway bar end links, which is a common wear item. Steering and braking are great. These cars are so neutral and balanced. Despite not making a ton of power, I'd still say this is the most fun you can have in a car for the money...and I've owned and driven plenty of cars. It's like a go-kart. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. I could listen to this engine rev all day. There have been no idiot lights on recently. The check engine light was on for a while but it went off and I haven't seen it lately. I never bothered to pull the code when it was on because the car ran like a raped ape and it didn't bother me. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She cruises easily at triple digit speeds with complete confidence. On winding back roads, you feel like you're driving on carpet with velcro tires. Like I said, I can't think of a single car that is this much fun for the same money. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of May, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
