My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The 1998 model year was the final year for this body style. This specific Grand Cherokee is the heavily optioned Limited model. In addition to that, this Grand Cherokee Limited has the very desirable 4.0L straight six engine that is quite uncommon to find in a Grand Cherokee Limited, especially a '98. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful Jeep. It is finished in a gorgeous green with gold trim and matching tan leather interior, which is a simply stunning color combination. Despite this being a nearly 20 year old Jeep, I couldn't help but find myself staring at it while it was sitting in my warehouse with the doors open for pictures. This is a gorgeous color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. This is an older truck with nearly 200k miles on it. The rear bumper cover is cracked by the right tail light, which is also cracked at the very bottom. Other than a few normal scratches and age related blemishes, there really isn't anything bad worth reporting on this Jeep. It's worth mentioning that I bought it on a Wednesday, drove it twice, let it sit outside in my gravel lot and just pulled it in and snapped these pictures on Saturday evening without even washing it...it's that good looking. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding is intact and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact, too. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. The rear tires are fine but the fronts are worn and should be replaced soon. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Jeep looks. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee Limited. I would also rate the interior to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you open the doors, you are simply struck by the beauty in the contrast of colors between the exerior and interior. The door panels show well for their age. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats show almost no wear and are very comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The dash and headliner are clean. The headliner is sagging a little up at the front and the cloth panel to the sunroof shade is no longer there, both are common age related wear items and hard to fault the truck for. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This Jeep comes with two keys, one remote and the original owners books. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The only thing I noticed is that the belt chirps lightly when it runs, so you'll probably want to put a new accessory belt on it before too long. Her road manners are alright for an old Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. I can tell that you'll have to replace the front track bar. The front end tends to wander a bit and you can feel it when you hit bumps. This would explain the worn front tires, too. It's next to impossible to tell just from driving it but I think that's all that is causing it. It's a very, very common wear item on these trucks and can be had for $100 from any auto parts store. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Aside from an intermittent ABS light, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. This Grand Cherokee Limited has the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which works very well and isn't all worn out like some. You can still feel it tighten up in tight turns. Out on the highway, I've had her doing 70 and she feels stable. Like I said, the steering tends to wander a bit due to the worn bushings on the track bar but it's not unmanageable to drive...just get it done sooner than later. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean Grand Cherokee, this '98 Limited deserves your careful consideration. If you've been on the lookout for a six cylinder Limited, you know how hard they are to come across in good condition. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The 1998 model year was the final year for this body style. This specific Grand Cherokee is the heavily optioned Limited model. In addition to that, this Grand Cherokee Limited has the very desirable 4.0L straight six engine that is quite uncommon to find in a Grand Cherokee Limited, especially a '98. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful Jeep. It is finished in a gorgeous green with gold trim and matching tan leather interior, which is a simply stunning color combination. Despite this being a nearly 20 year old Jeep, I couldn't help but find myself staring at it while it was sitting in my warehouse with the doors open for pictures. This is a gorgeous color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. This is an older truck with nearly 200k miles on it. The rear bumper cover is cracked by the right tail light, which is also cracked at the very bottom. Other than a few normal scratches and age related blemishes, there really isn't anything bad worth reporting on this Jeep. It's worth mentioning that I bought it on a Wednesday, drove it twice, let it sit outside in my gravel lot and just pulled it in and snapped these pictures on Saturday evening without even washing it...it's that good looking. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding is intact and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact, too. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age. The rear tires are fine but the fronts are worn and should be replaced soon. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Jeep looks. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee Limited.
I would also rate the interior to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you open the doors, you are simply struck by the beauty in the contrast of colors between the exerior and interior. The door panels show well for their age. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats show almost no wear and are very comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The dash and headliner are clean. The headliner is sagging a little up at the front and the cloth panel to the sunroof shade is no longer there, both are common age related wear items and hard to fault the truck for. The audio system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This Jeep comes with two keys, one remote and the original owners books. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The only thing I noticed is that the belt chirps lightly when it runs, so you'll probably want to put a new accessory belt on it before too long. Her road manners are alright for an old Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. I can tell that you'll have to replace the front track bar. The front end tends to wander a bit and you can feel it when you hit bumps. This would explain the worn front tires, too. It's next to impossible to tell just from driving it but I think that's all that is causing it. It's a very, very common wear item on these trucks and can be had for $100 from any auto parts store. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Aside from an intermittent ABS light, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. This Grand Cherokee Limited has the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which works very well and isn't all worn out like some. You can still feel it tighten up in tight turns. Out on the highway, I've had her doing 70 and she feels stable. Like I said, the steering tends to wander a bit due to the worn bushings on the track bar but it's not unmanageable to drive...just get it done sooner than later. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean Grand Cherokee, this '98 Limited deserves your careful consideration. If you've been on the lookout for a six cylinder Limited, you know how hard they are to come across in good condition. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
