Vehicle Detail
I helped a friend out that was in financial need, this is how i came to own this 2005 BMW 760 LI. I do not know that much about the car but it seems 100% mechanically fine. "IT HAS A COOLER IN THE BACK SEAT FOR SODA OR WATER" How cool is that. There is a invoice from shumway that the ECM was just replaced and updated, also that it has all new injectors and coils. I have driven the car a couple of times it has MASSIVE power. I did install two new tires in the front. I have had it detailed inside and out. This is not a new car but from what i can tell WELL taken care of. This is the grand daddy of BMW 760LI is rated best in class from what the net info has given me. Engine and transmission were checked out from BMW and they said all fluids look great! Some times a indicator light comes on then goes away it idles rough when this happens then it goes back to normal. I was told by BMW this is because its code the new ECM. I wish i could tell more but again I just dont have all the information that the previous owner has. Bid accordlengy Here is some info I found on the net about the spec. 6.0-liter DOHC 48-valve all-aluminum V-12, is a billboard of BMW engine technology. There's the Double VANOS system that uses phasers on both the intake and exhaust cams to infinitely vary cam timing. The intake manifold and the valve covers are made from lightweight magnesium rather than aluminum or steel. There's also Valvetronic, a separate but ingenious system that adjusts intake-valve lift, thereby obviating the usual throttle plate and reducing pumping losses. It's muscle-flexing time among the world's carmakers, making for a horsepower race that we haven't seen the likes of since the 1960s. Only this time around, the objects at center stage are 12-cylinder cars with stratospheric price ranges, such as the Mercedes-Benz S600 and its 493-hp, twin-turbocharged V-12, or the upcoming Bentley Continental GT that'll make more than 500 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged W-12 mill. Fat-cat rides simply aren't cool these days unless there are 12 thumping pistons underhood. Even Cadillac has a V-12 in the works.
