I am thinning the heard of 12 valve trucks I own. This 1996 Ram 3500 is in very good condition. It has the 12 valve, 5.9 cummins, a newer ATS built transmission, a gear venders over-under drive and a Pac exhaust brake. This truck was used to tow a fifth wheel travel trailer. The engine is solid and runs very well. The truck is a 4x4, the KDP has been addressed and fixed, power adjust& entend mirrors, sliding rear window, 5th wheel rails, lined bed with no dents, straight pipe but it isn't any louder than my 1996 with muffler, 50 gallon ext. fuel tank that is plumbed into the main tank with a elect pump, aux. tranny cooler with electric fan mounted under the bed, factory undercoating, no rust, no dents, sway bar on rear, new steering stabilizer with a HD steering gearbox brace on front, no wobble, the front end is tight, bumpers are straight with no dings or dents , good paint with no major scratches or peeling of clear coat. This truck is stored inside of my shop 99% of the time when not in use. Electric drivers seat, seats are covered with sheepskin covers, HY Tec deep, finned tranny pan and rear end cover, 3 pod gauge set up with EGT, Boost and the tranny temp gauge has a switch over so it can display the engine oil temp or tranny temp, block heater, very light tinted windows, wind deflectors on hood& head lights, matching Michelin tires with appx.70-75% tread left , good spare, no dash cracks or imperfections, stainless wheel cover in nice shape, mud flaps with weights, the weights are showing a bit of rust, fiberglass running boards and trim kit. There are some paint chips in the running boards by the rear fenders. There are a few defects on the truck but do not take away from the performance or appearance unless looking for them. The cruise does not work correctly, I just had the truck in the shop for a full service and had them replace the servo but that did not totaly fix the problem. The cruise will set but then accelerate. The stock radio is hit or miss, some times it works fine, other times it does not, there is a small crack on the windshield up near the top on passenger side . The only appearance flaw is the rubber molding on the exterior has a plastic coating on it and it is peeling. The seats are in very good condition with no rips or sagging, the overhead console with temp & compass work as they should. This truck has not been smoked in and is very clean. I have a very nice fiberglass camper shell that I will let go with the truck for an additional price . The miles may go up a bit as someone local may want to test drive it. Please be sure to have funds available or in hand, be sure to ask if you need permission to purchase a truck , please do not waste my time. The person today spent 1.5 hours driving and going over the truck but needed to go see if he could get a loan, I don't have the time or patience for this kind of behavior. Yes, I will end the auction for the right price The gear-venders overdrive unit was $3900 + install, the exhaust brake was $1695 + install, the tranny was $4600 out the door, the running boards, gauges, seat covers, aux fuel tank and so on $2500 plus, I usually do not keep track of every penny I spend on my vehicles but can recall the major expenses. My reserve is less than the cost of these items alone. The truck runs very well, I would not hesitate to drive back and forth across the country which I have done several times. Depending who buys the truck, I may deliver all the way or part of the way. This will only happen once the truck is paid for in full and a delivery price is worked out.
