1968 Triumph Bonneville

The term "barn find" gets pretty overworked,but this 1968 Triumph Bonneville 650, came out of an actual barn,from under a couple canvas tarps,were it had been parked in 1976.I am not a British bike expert..bike kicks through with good compression,shifter clicks through the gears,chain was corroded so I took it off for ease of moving but transmission wasn't locked up.Bike was stored covered indoors so it is not rusty at all.The #s on the motor are the same as the #s on the frame,Bike appears very original,was owned by one family.Supposedly bike was ridden into the barn,but it does not run now.Tank is in perfect condition I can see no dents or dings and the inside is not rusty.Looks like something may have chewed on some of the wiring,comes with another complete stock wiring harness including headlight and switches.Have what I was told was the stock dual carb head,including the Amal carbs.Have extra exhaust,tail light assembly,foot peg.Comes wth extra parts shown in pic.Has two keys..comes with bill of sale.The Vin # is DU85903 matching.On Sep-26-16 at 13:41:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry correct Vin# is DU 80214 as shown in the pics of the motor and frame.
