I am selling a 1997 Jeep Wrangler as is. The Jeep is in good condition considering the year. The body is in great shape compared to other Wranglers of its time; it only has a few small rust spots as shown in the pictures. The frame is clean and solid, and all of the body mounts are virtually intact. The previous owners kept everything undercoated. The straight-six motor runs very strong with no leaks. On average I've been getting about 15-16 mpg. The A/C blows ice cold. The radio and all of the speakers work. The interior is clean. The Jeep is equipped with the towing package. This is a great Jeep that got me through the winter. It is very clean, mechanically sound, and runs great. I am only selling it because I have no use for two vehicles, and it is taking up room in the driveway. On Sep-19-16 at 20:08:15 PDT, seller added the following information: ********************************** I figured you guys are eventually going to ask, "What work does it need done?"... to my knowledge, very little. I am not a Jeep expert, but I'll tell you what I know. Eventually the locking mechanism on the exterior side of the passenger door will need to get fixed, because it has the tendency to be fussy and want to stay locked (when someone locks the door). It can also use new brake lines figuring it is nearly 20 years old. That's about it as far as I know. But like I said I'm selling this as is. The jeep had no problem passing New York inspection, and it did not give me any problems since I bought it last year. It's a nice little Jeep considering the age of the vehicle.
